This device requires a three-wire installation and is typically mounted in the dash for a concealed installation, with only the external antenna visible. The 3900 is highly configurable to support optional features such as Driver ID, Panic Button, Power Take-Off Monitoring (must be voltage based), and Engine Diagnostics (with required cables). The external antenna version (E) is appropriate for heavy-duty vehicles.
